Ta-Da!
We've made progress.
After tearing down the walls, we have begun to rebuild.
Here are a few shots of our hard work.
I'd love to hear your ideas, suggestions, and thoughts.
More photos are on the way!

This is the pocket door that we installed. This will separate the bedrooms from the upstairs living space. It will be awesome for noise reduction as well as when we have company to keep little ones within sight.

This is T's bedroom door. As you can see here, on this door we sampled the cream colored paint.

This is the window in "my" room. It hasn't been replaced yet, but the new window is in the garage. We should be installing the new window this weekend (weather permitting).

This is the door for the master bedroom. As you can see here we were sampling a wood stain. We opted not to go this route simply due to the lack of natural light in our home.

Here's a view down the hall. You can see the pocket door and the front hall closet, which has been reconfigured to allow us to replace the door.

This is part of the upstairs bedroom which is now "my" room. This area is where the daybed will be placed. Of course, the door will actually be hung in the doorway - LOL.

You can see all our handy dandy tools and our drywall hanging skills up close and personal.

This is in "my" room too. I'm going to be putting a desk surface and shelves up the wall here to create a cozy nook for working.

We hardwired boxes for swing arm lamp sconces to go in above the daybed area.

Here you can see the desk area again as well as part of the closet. WOW it sure looks messy.

You are really rebuilding your home Suzann! It is all looking great. You will be so happy with it when it is done. And if you don't like a paint color, just change it. Those are the easy things as they are changable. It looks like you are doing great with everything you choose so far. And all this started with mice in the wall if I remember correctly? :-)
Hugs ~

It looks like a lot of work! But if you see it all looking newer and better it´s worth it.

Yep, lovin' the cream.
Can't wait to see the finished work room for you. You're gonna love having your own cozy space to create and relax and stitch...
