You all rock.
So Many Many wonderful, encouraging words.
And then there's me.
Not sure if I ever shared, but I have a "thing".
I'm thinking that the "thing" may be more than they diagnosed.
They tell me I have colitis.
Ischemic Colitis. Senior citizens get this. I also have IBS.
I think I have Celiac, but this has not been officially diagnosed.
Last Tuesday I started to get sick. I refused to acknowledge it.
It decided it didn't care.
It was coming to kick butt and take names.
Let's just say that I couldn't go out at all this weekend.
I missed that big amazing evening that I wanted to be at on Saturday.
I missed my daughter's first showcase (High School Competition) of the season at NIU (she's a cheerleader)
In fact, I did NOTHING but read all weekend.
So much for my big, brave, first step.

You can only do what you can do....and sometimes we just have to live with that. Hugs and I hope you feel better really soon!
Loving the new bloggy look!!!!
Hi Suzann! Becoming ill is not fun and that has been my life for 2009. It does however come with a silver lining. It will teach you what you need to know if you let it. You will find that you really do understand what is important in life. I hope you will take things easy and go along with the life you have been given. You will be happier for it. Remember than God never gives us more than we can handle.
Hugs ~
Heidi
I'm so bummed for you. I'm sure you were disappointed.
Take heart; there will be other events, all in time. And you WILL be there, someday.
Besides, you got to spend the weekend with Edward. Wasn't all bad, right?
I am SO sorry!!
but at least i have a key necklace here waiting for you and a big box of fabulous goddies.

I'm sorry you missed too...especially since I would have loved to meet you! I hope you get to feeling better...and seeing the glass 1/2 full I have to remind myself all the time too:)
