Today the temperatures were in the 90's, but I won't give up hope. Autumn is just around the corner, I just know it! Soon there will be cooler temps, leaves a changing, and those comforting smells of autumn. I just hope it doesn't make me wait too long. In the meantime I will just be dreamin' of the cozy smells of my favorite coffee, fires burning in fireplaces, the sounds of leaves crunching underfoot, and the amazing colors that warm my soul.
Susan Branch's books are a favorite of mine and I love how she cherishes the seasons. If you haven't ever checked out her books or her website, I highly recommend both!

Susan Branch is my favorite too Suzann! I still am so touched that she wrote a comment on my blog. She really is such a nice person too! Isn't this book great?! It brings the season to you so well. I am sorry to hear it is still so hot there. We are in the throws of autumn and I am even wearing my lightweight scrafs outdoors now. I love it! I will be decorating for autumn in the cottage this week. Are you getting out some autumn decorations? I would love to see photos of yours.

oh, I love susan branch! I am a little ready for fall...I am more of a summer person...fall is nice,but then comes cold weather and that I dread. I love you blog and will add you to my blog list. Nancy
