Guess Where My Son Went Last Night?

My eldest son, a.k.a. Booger, had a night out last night. He went into the city with his friends. They went here.

Looks like a nice place, doesn't it? Well, it's been around for forever in our fair city. But, he saw nothing amazing. Instead, he saw this.

RISE AGAINST

THRICE

THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM

ALKALINE TRIO

Oh I'm so proud. LOL.

Oh to be young again - no thanks!

And people thought Woodstock was scary!? LOL

Honestly, I've got a very wide appreciation of music,

but I'm not even certain how to classify these bands.

I really have a hard time enjoying them.

I guess that means that I'm old.

How sad.

What a beautiful building. Somehow it doesnt seem fitting for these bands? Not that I have anything against them but they look more likely to play in a grungy setting. I thought you were going to tell us your son went to an opera! hahaha!

Funny how at this age, we're not so much impressed with the musical talents but rather the architecture.

That's a beautiful building!

What a beautiful building! Doesn't seem like the appropriate setting for a hard rock concert, though.

Thanks for stoppping by my blog today!

It's amazing how they've restored the theater. When I was little my mom took me there to see Peter Pan, it was my very time time at the movies. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello!

well...look at the bright side...the building was beautiful...None of the band members have long ridiculous hair....none of them are wearing womens clothes....and God made ear plugs! I'm with you though...I'm way too old for some of this music!

What a beautiful building! I find that as each birthday passes, I find myself becoming more and more closed to certain types of music, but more open to new (or sometimes old) music that I wouldn't have considered before. I recently discovered that I love Ella Fitzgerald! :)
