Squeezing In The Fun

Do you ever feel like you're squeezing in ever last bit of fun?  Lately that's how I feel.

(add to that a bunch of crabby mama due to lack of sleep and you've summed up my life)

Drinking a LOT of this...

and I DO have the app for that!!

This past week was full of fun times.

Last Friday we kicked things off with High School Football.

On Saturday we had a scout bon-fire and my daughter had friends over for an impromptu bon-fire.

On Sunday we ventured out to a different mall (needed some out of the house time) where we finally purchased a new toaster.  We also visited stores we don't have at our mall, Tiffany's - Neiman Marcus - Pottery Barn - and Restoration Hardware, just to name a few.

When we got home we had a little BBQ with some of my daughter's friends.

On Monday my late nights came into play (causing lack of sleep) because I have to pick up my eldest son at work.  He works about 15 miles away and doesn't get off until 10 p.m.  I'm an 8+ hour a night sleeper and this has really been hard on me.  By Thursday I gave Oscar the Grouch (of Sesame Street) a run for his money on the grouch-meter.

This week we...

Did homework, worked on puzzles, read books, watched movies, cleaned house, played with the dogs, had elementary school curriculum night, had a few friends over, and had lots and lots of cheerleading practice.

This weekend...

Today I'm getting a much needed haircut, working at the concession stand at the football game, watching the Varsity football game, and hosting a bon-fire here tonight after the game too.

The big "fest" is here in my town this weekend which means lots of walking and friends and fun for 3 days.  Bands, food, carnival, craft fair, parade, etc.  Plus this weekend is the fest in my husband's hometown, so we may venture out there for that as well.  LOTS to do.

Squeezing in ever last bit of fun for sure.

How about you??

Part of my weekend includes work on Sunday night, but we are still squeezing in a bonfire, pig roast, hiking trip and time together as a family.

Have a great weekend, Suzanne!
