Summer Reading and Movies

I just finished this book and once again Jodi Picoult hit a home-run with me.

I loved this book from start to finish.

The story is about a family who has a child with O.I.

Points of view from everyone involved, twists, turns, unexpected situations are on every page.

I loved how it made you think about the "what-if's" too.

Okay, so we've been seeing movies lately.  Both at the theatre and on DVD.

We went to see The Karate Kid at the theatre.

I have one word to describe this movie...

WOW!

I dare to say that this movie was even better than the original.

Honestly, go see this movie.  It was amazing.

On DVD I watched The Lovely Bones and Grease (again)

The Lovely Bones was actually, surprisingly, not as bad as I feared.

LOVED the book, the movie was probably what I could call "really like".

Grease?  What can I say - it still rocks after all these years.

I've been stitching too.  Goodness I hope I get a chance to take photos and share them this week.

Busy week ahead.  Buckle up and enjoy the ride!!!

Honestly, I love almost every book that Jodi has written. She has a talent, that one.

I've seen Eclipse. And that's it, so far. Not a big movie-goer, not me.

That coaster actually looks like fun...hope your week is more fun than crazy :)
