Okay, so if you read my blog or listen to my whining you know our refrigerator broke.
Luckily we have a spare in the garage.
So, for a week now we've been running up and down the stairs to get stuff from the fridge.
It's a nightmare and I haven't lost any weight, despite the exercise.

Yesterday the broken fridge went to the appliance graveyard, via curbside pickup.
Now we have a gaping hole in the kitchen.

Scary thing is, hubby and I both like the hole.
So, now he would like to get under cabinet refrigeration drawers.
Can you say nice but expensive? And is it honestly practical? Not sure.
So much to think about...

Oh Suzann I'm so sorry to hear about your fridge! I have not heard of the drawers option. They llok nice in the photos.
Let us know what you end up with.

It was great to 'meet' you on my blog this morning! Yes, these drawer fridges are quite pricey, but from what I've seen on Home Improvement shows, they are quite efficient. I'm not sure if I could get used to digging for the stuff I need versus just opening a door. Whatever you decide will be fabulous I'm sure. Have a wonderful day!
Wow. I've never seen these kind of refrigs. Where do you put the milk? I love a huge refrigerator with ten doors...Oh, they don't make them yet. Sorry yours died.
I hope you have a great day!
I say if you can afford it, go for it. I think (and I only think about it 'cause I can't afford it!) they'd be easier to organize and clean and fetch from.
I can't find a refrigerator big enough to hold all our stuff! I know what you mean about liking the space rather than a refer taking center stage in a kitchen, but like a pair of comfortable yet ugly shoes versus spike heels that make you crazy, my vote is to save the back. They make some beautiful products now...I hope you find one you love that will still fit the pocketbook and look lovely in that hole!
Are you intrinsically lazy like me? I don't know if I could be bothered bending! They're soooo groovy though and look fabulous. It's a tough one.
A-M xx
