It's funny how some people enter your life for a season and others, despite our contact, never seem far from mind.
Once upon a time...
I worked full-time at a major corporation and met a gal, Jeanne Murray Schingten.
This gal and I become friends.

Although we had contact after I left the company, we soon drifted apart as life, children, marriage, and the like take us on our own journeys.
Recently I came in contact with this gal and have discovered that these years have blessed her. She has given birth to three children, remained in a marriage that I believe has blessed her spirit, and she has discovered her gift. She creates beautiful art in the form of jewelry.
Now, I'm not talking about someone who strings beads or mass produces an item. I am talking art. A gift. A reflection of her soul.

Blogging has blessed me to see so many talents and gifts. My spirit has been stirred and a desire has been ignited as I too strive to be creative. I'm not certain what road this will take me down, but I am welcoming the journey.
I wanted to feature my friend today.
To share her gifts with you.
Perhaps you will be inspired or perhaps you will see the beauty in her creations
and long to own one for yourself.
I hope that you enjoy her talents and visit her webpages and or her facebook page.
She's local, from Wisconsin, but comes to Illinois to various faires and art shows. I'm going to see her in a couple of weeks in a near-by town and I'm quite excited.
So, open your mind and spirit and enjoy the adventure.
(a quote from her website)
The time has come for us all to live more consciously. A time for fashion to be purposeful and "green" as well as beautiful and stylish.
This time brings with it a collective opportunity for artisans to create beautiful treasures in a manner in which allows us to honor the environmental as well as the spiritual aspects of our components.
All jewelry is a diverse combination of raw material, each with it's own intrinsic properties. We must begin to look at our raw material in a new and brilliant light.
