My camera has been taken hostage.
I have been desperately trying to capture some photos of my renovations and my stitching and I cannot get my hands on it.
So, here is what's been going on...
The drywall is down - we're looking at studs (okay, not THOSE studs, 2 x 4's)
We only found 2 dead mice in the walls - Yahooo!!!
The new windows have been ordered and will be here within 2 weeks.
I have gotten all of my cross-stitching charts organized and cataloged and I only have to kit them all up and figure out what to do next.
We have chosen the hardwood floors
I am working on dealing with my issues and feelings of failure in regards to my mothering and my son's choices

I am learning to embrace "me" despite my faults
I am so proud of the way my daughter has been working diligently on her gymnastic/cheerleading skills
I watched the most amazing movie tonight - Slumdog Millionaire. If you haven't seen it, please do so as soon as possible!
I am gearing up for a very heavy duty workload through the end of the month and I thank GOD for the blessing of work.
I am still searching for the perfect quilt for my new "room"
I have picked out my new front door.
We are installing a pocket door in the perfect place that will alter the entire function of the upstairs.

We have made a decision on the layout of the upstairs
I got my hair highlighted (finally) and my new colorist is WONDERFUL!
My husband and I are doing our very best to fall in love with each other day after day - FIREPROOF

I do have one very big QUESTION...Do I paint the trim WHITE? Do I paint the trim CREAM? Do I stain the trim? HELP!!!

Things are so busy at your house I don't know how you stay sane! In the midst of construction it really is hard to have a normal life. My two cents...paint the trim white! It makes any wall color looks that much better...and it makes a room look fresh and bright. I can't wait to see pictures....pay the ransom and get your camera back!
My husband and I are doing our very best to fall in love with each other day after day - FIREPROOF- I LOVE THIS!!
I Say paint the trim white, keeps everything looking crisp and clean, not to mention if you paint the walls a color the white helps to make that color pop!!
AND, boy are you one busy girl!
We have white trim. I hate the way dirt shows up on it. Next time, I am staining my trim. Period.
Find that camera, girl! I'm dying to see pics of the renovation!
