Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's 65th birthday.  She doesn't like gifts anymore because she doesn't want "stuff" so I'm giving her a gift card so her and my dad can go out to dinner without worrying about the money.

When my mom was born it was a scary time in the world, I imagine that her birth brought much joy to my Nana and Papa (her parents).

On this day, when my mom was born...

1943 World War II Majdanek Concentration camp in Poland Murder of 42,000 in 2 days

November 3rd, 1943 : Nazi's carry out "Operation Harvest Festival" to kill all Jews remaining in the Lublin District of Poland. Happy Birthday to your Mom! My oldest son is studying about the Holocaust in school. It has affected him very much.

Your 7 year old and my 7 year old would be great friends. They both share a passion for Elvis!!

Morning Suzann! Happy Birthday to your Mom! My mom feels the same way about "stuff" now so date night is a great idea!! I'm sorry there couldn't have been joy in the world on her birthdate instead of horror. Thanks for the input on the glass stovetop; it really helped me out! Now if I can learn to be a less violent cook I'll be all set!lol Have a great day - Sincerely, Jeannette

Tell your Mom Happy Birthday for me. And hopefully after tomorrow the world won't start heading in the "bad direction" again. I fear for all of us.
